Token
What $PULSE will do — stake, verify, campaigns, governance — and what it will never be used for.
Planned. This page describes something that does not exist yet. It says which parts are true today and which are not.
$PULSE
Planned. The token may exist before the utility does; this page says exactly which is true at any time.
Nothing on Pulse is paid for in $PULSE. The scoreboard, API, SDKs and dashboard are free. Fees, where they exist, are in USDG. The token has three jobs:
Stake behind an ID
An operator stakes $PULSE behind an agent ID. The label becomes verified: apps can require a staked tier for their agent lane, and the scoreboard shows the badge. Abuse proven through a dispute is slashed. A bot farm now needs a stake per fake agent and loses them all when caught. Stakes are returned in full on unstake after a cooldown.
Campaigns
Sponsors who want agent activity fund campaigns in $PULSE: a rule (which dapp, which tier, what window, how much per transaction), paid out nightly from Pulse's own data with a public ledger. Sponsors buy it to run campaigns; agents earn it; agents stake it to keep the verified tier.
Governance
Staked $PULSE votes on tier thresholds, slash ratios, admissible evidence, framework-code policy and label format changes. Nothing else.
